We are beyond proud to announce that Flight Medic Berry has been officially accepted as a speaker at the ECHO Philadelphia 2026 Conference — taking place in September 2026 at the Sheraton in Downtown Philadelphia, PA.

This is more than a speaking engagement. This is a comeback story.

In September 2025, Tyler Mckinzey — known to many as Flight Medic Berry — was diagnosed with cancer. It pulled him out of EMS, shook him to his core, and forced him to confront an identity he had built his entire life around. But like any great flight medic knows — when the conditions get dangerous, you don't quit. You trust your training, you trust your tools, and you fly.

Now he's back. And he's back with everything.

At ECHO Philadelphia 2026, Flight Medic Berry will be presenting "My IFR Condition" — a powerful talk drawing parallels between flying in instrument conditions (seeing nothing, trusting everything) and what it means to navigate life's darkest storms as a first responder. When visibility is zero, how do you keep going? You trust the instruments. You trust yourself.

And if that wasn't enough — he's also set to speak at the NC EMS Expo this May AND is putting the finishing touches on his first book, "My IFR Condition", coming soon.
