Tyler McKinzey, FPC, NRP, MHRO, AS EMS

Tyler McKinzey, Founder and CEO of Beyond the Sirens, has over 13 years of experience in EMS. He holds credentials as a Board Certified FP-C (Flight Provider), National Registered Paramedic (NRP), Mental Health Resiliency Officer (MHRO), AHA and HSI Instructor, EMT Instructor, and Firefighter. Currently working as a critical care paramedic, Tyler founded Beyond the Sirens in response to the mental health crisis among first responders. His dedication to public safety and passion for the camaraderie within the field drive his mission to provide education, support, and community for those who serve.

Dr. Marshal Eidenberg

Marshall Eidenberg is a board-certified emergency physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. With a focus on disaster planning and education, Dr. Eidenberg has a proven track record of integrating clinical expertise with hands-on training. His experience in EMS Scope of Practice planning for the Department of Defense in 2004, combined with his dedication to improving emergency care, makes him a key asset to the Beyond the Sirens team, committed to delivering high-quality, life-saving training to first responders and medical professionals.

Lily O’Connor, NREMT, CCMA, CPT

Lily O'Connor is a driven healthcare professional with over five years of experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EMT, and AHA/ASHI Instructor. As the Director of Operations at Beyond the Sirens, a critical care and EMS education company, Lily brings expertise in public speaking, marketing, social media, website design, outreach, market analysis, and communications. She is dedicated to excellence, leadership, and professional growth, with a passion for making a meaningful impact on the community and advancing healthcare education to support first responders and medical professionals.

Mark Gallegos

Mark is a New Jersey-based Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic and the Chief Technology Officer at Beyond The Sirens. He leads our information technology systems, logistical operations, and equipment procurement. In addition to his tech expertise, Mark actively supports our Prehospital Advanced Life Support Education efforts. He’s deeply passionate about making education more accessible and promoting mental health resources for first responders. Mark’s dedication plays a key role in the continued growth and impact of Beyond The Sirens.

Megan Mills

Megan serves as the Chief Administration Officer at Beyond the Sirens, bringing both leadership and heart to the team. A full-time Wildlife Biologist specializing in White-tailed Deer populations and disease surveillance, she also carries a deep-rooted connection to public safety through her family of first responders. Having seen the importance of continued education and accessible mental health resources, Megan was inspired to join Beyond The Sirens for its commitment to professional excellence and peer support. She’s proud to be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to those who dedicate their lives to helping others—our first responders.

Lt. Kenny Sweitzer Jr.

Advanced Clinical Educator

Kenny Sweitzer Jr. serves as a Fire Lieutenant at Clearwater Fire & Rescue and as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic with Aeromed in Tampa, bringing over a decade of experience in high-acuity, prehospital emergency care. He blends frontline leadership with advanced clinical expertise in trauma, cardiac care, and critical care transport.

Throughout his career, Kenny has held advanced roles including Lead Flight Paramedic and EMS Instructor, teaching paramedics and EMTs through the Medical Director’s Office. He has been recognized for his excellence with honors such as Clearwater’s Paramedic of the Year, the Rotary Club’s Firefighter of the Year, multiple Chief’s Unit Citations, and Medical Director Awards.

Kenny is also an ACLS and PHTLS instructor, team captain for Clearwater’s ALS competition team, and a trusted preceptor for paramedic and EMT students. Known for his calm demeanor under pressure and unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, he is a respected leader in both fire service and flight medicine.
