Disclaimer
Effective Date: June 29, 2026
Applies To: All participants in Beyond The Sirens, LLC courses, workshops, skill kits, and tutoring services
By enrolling in or participating in any Beyond The Sirens program, you acknowledge and accept the following:
1. General Disclaimer
Beyond The Sirens provides high-quality, hands-on education and training. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, including certification, exam passage, employment, or skill mastery. Learning outcomes depend on individual effort, preparation, and performance.
2. Skill Kits & Workshops
Remote Skill Kits: Materials are intended for use only as directed in course instruction. Use of remote skill kits is at your own risk. Beyond The Sirens is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss resulting from misuse, modification, or use outside provided instructions.
In-Person Workshops: All participants must follow instructor guidance and posted safety protocols at all times. Beyond The Sirens is not liable for harm resulting from a participant's failure to follow instructions, negligence, or misuse of equipment.
3. AHA/ASHI Certification Courses (CPR, ACLS, PALS, BLS, etc.)
Beyond The Sirens is an authorized [AHA/ASHI] training provider. Certification eligibility is determined by [AHA/ASHI] standards and requires successful completion of all required skills and written assessments. Certification is not guaranteed and depends on individual performance during hands-on and written evaluation.
4. Specialty & Custom Courses
Courses tailored to specific groups or settings (e.g., CPR for daycare providers) are customized based on information provided by the requesting organization or individual. Beyond The Sirens is not responsible for a participant's on-the-job performance, decision-making, or outcomes following course completion.
5. Tutoring & Exam Preparation
We provide tutoring and exam preparation support for credentialing exams (e.g., NREMT, FP-C, CFRN). Tutoring complements — but does not replace — independent study, and we do not guarantee exam results.
6. Acknowledgment of Risk
Hands-on training involves inherent physical risk, including the possibility of accidental injury. By participating, you acknowledge this risk and agree to follow all posted safety instructions and instructor guidance.
7. Participants Under 18
If a participant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and sign all required acknowledgment and waiver forms on the minor's behalf prior to participation.
8. Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this Disclaimer periodically to reflect changes in our programs, certifying body requirements, or applicable law.
Photo, Video & Media Release
Effective Date: June 29, 2026
Applies To: All participants in courses, workshops, and events hosted by Beyond The Sirens, LLC
1. Media Capture
During courses, workshops, and events, we may photograph or video record participants for use in:
Our website (beyondthesirens.org)
Social media channels, including Flight Medic Berry and Beyond The Sirens branded accounts
Marketing, promotional, and educational materials (print or digital)
Internal course materials and training documentation
2. Adult Participants
By participating, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and voice as described above, unless you opt out (see Section 4). We do not provide compensation for use of your image, and participation does not grant you any ownership or editorial claim over published materials beyond the removal request process below.
3. Minors
For any participant under 18, we will not photograph, record, or publish their image without prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian. This consent is separate from — and required in addition to — general program enrollment, and a guardian may decline media consent while still enrolling the minor in the course.
4. Opting Out
If you do not want your image or recording used, submit a written or typed request to info@beyondthesirens.org before the start of class.
You may also request removal of previously published media featuring you. We will make a good-faith effort to remove it from channels we directly control (our website and our own social accounts), but cannot guarantee removal from third-party shares, screenshots, archives, or platforms outside our control.
5. Other Participants in Frame
Hands-on courses involve multiple participants in shared spaces. By participating, you acknowledge you may appear incidentally in media primarily focused on another participant or instructor.
6. Scope and Duration
This consent applies to media captured during your enrollment period and remains in effect unless you submit a written revocation request. Previously published materials will remain unless removal is specifically requested under Section 4.
