Disclaimer for Beyond The Sirens

By participating in any courses, services, or programs offered by Beyond The Sirens, you agree to the following terms:

1. General Disclaimer

Beyond The Sirens strives to provide high-quality, hands-on education in various life-saving techniques and medical skills. However, we make no guarantees regarding the outcomes of our courses. Results vary from student to student due to differing levels of prior experience, engagement, and learning styles. Beyond The Sirens cannot be held liable for any lack of understanding or skill retention following course completion. All students are responsible for their own learning and practice.

2. Phlebotomy and Skill Workshops

  • Remote Skills Kits (Phlebotomy & Skill Training): Any harm resulting from the improper use of remote skills kits, including those used for Phlebotomy training, is the student’s responsibility. Beyond The Sirens holds no liability for any injuries, damages, or other harm caused by misuse of these materials.

  • Hands-On Skill Workshops: For Phlebotomy and specialty workshops such as IV Insertion, Intubation, EKG Interpretation, and Trauma Simulation, students are expected to follow all safety guidelines provided by the instructor. Beyond The Sirens does not take responsibility for any injuries, accidents, or negative outcomes resulting from improper use of equipment, techniques, or failure to follow safety protocols.

3. AHA Certification Courses (CPR, PALS, ACLS, BLS)

  • CPR and First Aid: Our AHA Certification courses, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and HeartSaver (CPR, AED, First Aid), require students to demonstrate proficiency in life-saving techniques. In-person courses involve hands-on skills assessments that determine certification eligibility. We cannot guarantee that every student will pass the certification exam, as success depends on individual performance.

  • Specialty Courses: For classes like CPR for Daycares, Construction Workers, or Scouts, we provide customized training to ensure relevant certifications. However, Beyond The Sirens does not take responsibility for poor performance or lack of understanding post-course completion.

4. Personalized Tutoring & Exam Prep

For our one-on-one tutoring services, we aim to help students excel in exams such as NREMT, FP-C/CFRN, and other critical care certifications. However, Beyond The Sirens cannot guarantee exam success, as this is contingent upon the student’s own efforts, study habits, and prior knowledge. Tutoring sessions provide additional support but are not a replacement for independent study and practice.

5. Photos and Videos

Beyond The Sirens may use photographs and videos taken during courses or workshops for promotional purposes across social media platforms, our website, brochures, and other marketing materials. If you do not wish for your image to be used, a written or typed letter must be submitted before the start of the class, requesting exclusion.

6. Refund Policy

  • No Refunds: Beyond The Sirens does not offer refunds for courses unless an irreversible situation occurs on our end. If you are unable to attend a class, your payment may be applied toward a future class, provided that you notify us in advance.

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a class, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice. If notice is given within 48 hours or if you are a no-show to class, a fee may be applied for rescheduling.

7. Acknowledgment of Risk

By attending any of our courses, including CPR, Phlebotomy, and Specialty Workshops, you acknowledge that there is an inherent risk involved with practical medical training, including but not limited to accidental injury or exposure. You agree to follow all safety instructions and take necessary precautions to minimize risks.
