By enrolling in or participating in any Beyond The Sirens program, you acknowledge and accept the following terms:
1. General Disclaimer
We provide high-quality, hands-on education. However, we do not guarantee specific results. Learning outcomes vary by student.
2. Skill Kits & Workshops
Remote Skills Kits: Use at your own risk. Beyond The Sirens is not responsible for injury or damage due to misuse.
In-Person Workshops: Follow all safety instructions. We are not liable for harm caused by negligence or misuse.
3. AHA Certification Courses (CPR, ACLS, PALS, etc.)
Certification is not guaranteed. Success depends on individual performance during hands-on assessments.
4. Specialty & Custom Courses
Tailored courses (e.g., CPR for daycares) are customized to your needs. However, Beyond The Sirens is not liable for performance post-course.
5. Tutoring & Exam Prep
We offer support for exams like NREMT and FP-C/CFRN, but success is not guaranteed. Tutoring complements—not replaces—independent study.
Terms of Service
1. Photos and Videos
We may use media captured during courses for promotional purposes.
📌 Opt-Out: Submit a written or typed request before class begins if you do not want your image used.
2. Refund Policy
No Refunds unless an error occurs on our end.
Rescheduling: Allowed with 48 hours' notice. Less than 48 hours or no-shows may incur a fee.
3. Acknowledgment of Risk
Participation in any hands-on course involves inherent risks, including accidental injury. You agree to follow safety protocols and assume responsibility for your own safety.
Student Academic Integrity & No Cheating Policy
Effective Date: April 29, 2025
Applies To: All enrolled students
Purpose
To ensure ethical conduct and uphold professionalism in all educational activities.
Policy Statement
Students must complete all coursework and exams honestly and independently. Violations include cheating, plagiarism, or misrepresentation.
Definitions
Cheating Includes:
Unauthorized materials during tests
Copying or sharing answers
Using AI tools without permission
Plagiarism Includes:
Submitting another’s work
Inadequate citation
Copying without credit
Misrepresentation Includes:
Falsifying attendance or clinical hours
Submitting forged documents
Disciplinary Action
First Offense:
Written warning placed in student file
Second Offense:
Immediate dismissal without refund
Permanent ban from future enrollment
Possible report to certifying bodies
Appeals Process
Students may appeal within 5 business days. Appeals are reviewed by the Director of Operations or instructor(s), with a final decision issued in 10 business days.
Acknowledgment
All students must sign the Academic Integrity Acknowledgment Form upon beginning any course.
