Class Description:
The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of prehospital and in-facility settings.

This instructor-led, hands-on course covers:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • The AHA Chain of Survival

  • Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

  • Effective ventilations using barrier devices

  • Team dynamics and communication during resuscitation

  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking)

Who Should Attend:
This class is required for EMS professionals, nurses, CNAs, dental professionals, medical assistants, and other healthcare-related roles. It is also appropriate for students entering medical or allied health programs.

Group Class Info:
Ideal for clinical teams, schools, or workplace healthcare staff needing initial certification or renewal. Classes are held at your facility.

REQUIREMENT: The AHA requires that students either bring their BLS Provider Manual OR purchase one. Use our AHA Books tab located on our website to purchase your book.

Certification:
Upon successful completion, students will receive an official AHA BLS Provider eCard valid for two years.

Please note that all in-person classes are held within North Carolina, unless certain criteria are met for out of state classes.
