Class Description:
The HeartCode® PALS course allows healthcare providers to complete the cognitive portion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support online at their own pace, followed by a short, hands-on skills session. This flexible format ensures mastery of pediatric emergency knowledge while still providing essential practical experience.
In this blended training, students will learn how to:
Recognize and manage pediatric respiratory and cardiac arrest
Assess and treat shock, respiratory distress, and life-threatening conditions
Apply advanced airway management and emergency medication administration
Participate effectively in pediatric resuscitation teams
Demonstrate leadership and communication skills in emergencies
