Class Description:
This AHA Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid course is specially tailored for camp counselors and staff working with children and teens in outdoor or recreational settings. It provides the essential skills and confidence to respond to medical emergencies that may occur during camp activities.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

  • Respond to choking emergencies

  • Provide first aid for common camp injuries like cuts, sprains, insect bites, heat illness, and allergic reactions

  • Recognize when to activate EMS and how to provide care until help arrives

Who Should Attend:
Camp counselors, junior leaders, recreational staff, after-school program leaders, and volunteers who need CPR/AED and First Aid certification for their role.

Group Class Info:
Group sessions can be held at your camp, school, or community center. All training is hands-on and led by a certified instructor with experience in both prehospital care and youth-focused safety.

Certification:
Participants will receive an official AHA Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid eCard valid for two years upon successful completion.
