California: Laboratory Field Services: Effective June 30, 2017 the AMCA is approved as an accepted PTC examination in the state of California. Please view the LFS website for more information on becoming a certified phlebotomist.
Additional Recommendations: The AMCA recommends a minimum of 30 venipunctures and 10 capillaries, upon completion of a clinical program.
